Construction 101 (Virtual)

Ever wish you knew more about the construction industry? How about your accountant, business development professional or your office manager – does their lack of first-hand experience hold them back from achieving all you hope them to? This four-session course will help the participant gain a better understanding of the industry and how ‘things work.’  Learn key terminology, industry standards, size & diversity.

This course will leave attendees with a base knowledge of how a construction project or process is handled from start to completion.  Students will learn how construction firms are organized and gain a basic understanding on key concepts such as blueprint reading, contracts, change orders, submittals, progress schedules and experience the estimating and bidding process.
