Construction 101 (Virtual)

This four-session course will help the participant gain a better understanding of the industry and how ‘things work.’ Learn key terminology, industry standards, size & diversity.

This course will leave attendees with a base knowledge of how a construction project or process is handled from start to completion. Students will learn how construction firms are organized and gain a basic understanding on key concepts such as blueprint reading, contracts, change orders, submittals, progress schedules and experience the estimating and bidding process.
