NOTE: THIS CLASS IS A FOLLOW UP TO THE CONSTRUCTION 101 TRAINING ABC OFFERS. IT IS NOT A PREREQUISITE BUT IS ENCOURAGED PRIOR TO TAKING THE 201 TRAINING.
Description: Ever wish you knew more about the construction industry? This course has been designed as a follow up to and builds on the Construction 101 course and provides a deeper dive into Project Management and Superintendent fundamentals. Students will learn how construction firms manage the construction process from set up to turn over and will gain a basic understanding on how projects are managed from the field. Key topics include document management & control, project management tools, material tracking, contracts, change orders, submittals, progress schedules, site utilization, subcontractor coordination, punch list, inspections, and safety management.
