Awards Programs

Excellence In Construction Awards

fall

Central Florida Chapter ABC members enter their most outstanding Central Florida projects joining the ranks of hundreds of merit shop construction companies gaining recognition as the best in the commercial construction industry. Projects built by both General Contractor and Craft Trade Contractor members of CFC ABC may be entered.

Registration is required to enter this awards program, as well as to attend the awards banquet.

Charity/Fundraiser

ABC Student Chapter & YP Golf Tournament

Central Florida Chapter ABC holds an annual ABC Student Chapter tournament to raise funds to assist student chapter members in attending the national competition and conference. Tournaments are held at a variety of locations.

Casino Night

Central Florida Chapter ABC members join forces to raise funds for the Workforce Fund. Door prizes, gift baskets and many more items are given away at this event.

Registration is required for attendees.

Design & Building Industry Mixer

Spring

Central Florida Chapter ABC joins 20+ design and building associations in a mix & mingle after hours event supporting Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Bring a bag of non-perishable food items to attend.

Registration is not required to attend.

Toy drive & Holiday Party

Central Florida Chapter ABC gathers for the final after hours event of the year to celebrate the success of the year and give back to the Central Florida community. Bring an unwrapped, construction themed toy to donate to Toys and help bring joy to Central Florida children on Christmas morning.

Business Development

Builders’ Breakfast

ABC features speakers and presentations by business and community leaders, developer, builders, architects and many others involved in the industry. Breakfast is served!

Registration is required and may be paid online.

ABC On Tap

ABC members gather after hours, for a fun and casual meet-and-greet at some of Central Florida’s best night spots. This event is free to all ABC Central Florida member companies and their team.

Registration is not required to attend.

ABC of Florida State Convention

Summer

ABC members connect with staff and members of all five chapters which make up Associated Builders and Contractors Florida. Join the ABC Florida members in the commercial construction community for some fun in the sun.

Construction Expo

Central Florida Chapter ABC’s largest event of the year showcases your company to over 1,500 ABC members. The Construction Expo is a great way to reconnect with current customers, meet new customers as well as a great team building opportunity amongst your fellow team members.

Legislative

Legislative Hobnob

ABC in partnership with other Central Florida construction associations. This event allows members to connect with local, state, and national elected officials to discuss their concerns for the coming year.

Registration is required to attend.

Legislative Conference

Central Florida Chapter ABC members join ABC members from across Florida to speak with State Legislators about the issues that impact the entire commercial construction industry. This conference provides the opportunity to educate elected officials on how their actions impact the commercial construction business and employees.

Sporting

ABC Golf Tournaments

Spring & Fall

ABC Central Florida holds several golf tournaments throughout the year. Tournaments are held at a variety of locations with the addition of on-course sponsors who allow for even more exposure and networking opportunities!

Poker Run

ABC members enjoy a scenic ride through Central Florida, connecting with leaders in the commercial constructions industry! The ride ends with a delicious lunch, music, door prizes and awards.

Sporting Clays

Winter

Central Florida Chapter ABC members shoot airborne clay pigeons at each of the stations, scoring a point for each target hit. There will be individual prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for the shooters with the highest scores on both courses!

Team Competition

Chili Cook Off

ABC members compete to see who has the best Chili! Want to compete? Build a team of Chili experts within your company and see if your Chili has what it takes. ABC member companies and their team are invited to come and vote for their favorite Chili. Judges also taste and award prizes for first, second, and third place.

Registration is required to participate as a team in the competition. Attendees are not required to register to attend.
